Smoothies are my favorite way of enjoying all the juicy fruits of the summer. All this energy, the colors and the texture … smoothies are a gift from heaven!
Besides being tasty, smoothies are extremely easy to make and perfect for our needs of refreshment during the hot summer. Equipped with a blender, good fruits and vegetables you can invent countless drinks. You can even boost them with spices and different kinds of liquids (vegetable milks, coconut water …).
Even though the purpose of this article is to give recipe ideas, I think it’s rare to fail in the preparation and the combination of smoothies. Almost all mixtures (of natural ingredients) are tryable. It’s only up to you to see what kind of vitamins and minerals you’d like to get into your body. Because, of course, smoothies are not only delicious, but also very healthy and can help digestion.

Some tips to achieve your dream smoothie:
If you like thick, creamy smoothies, always add a banana to your mix.
If it is too thick, add in more milk or water.
If you want them to be more like a pudding, add an avocado.
